A group show of calligraphy works by Artists from Israel and the UAE. Displayed at the Jerusalem Theatre as part of the Jerusalem Biennale, November-December 2021. Co-curated with Dubai based artist Chama Mechtaly, Maktoub is an exploration of common ground between cultures who value the power of the written word.

The opening of Maktoub was made possible by support from the British Embassy in Israel. Speakers included British Ambassador Neil Wigan, Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Fleur Hassan, Biennale Director Ram Ozeri and the shows curators, Lenore Mizrachi-Cohen and Chama Mechtaly. The show organizers and artists were honored to host representatives from Israel's Knesset and the embassies of Jordan, Bahrain and Egypt.
